Early Book Program

Early Book Program for Spring 2021

  • December 21 - January 5
  • January 11 - February 5

This program is only available for students that have excess financial aid. Depending on the balance of excess financial aid, you may have up to $800 available for the purchase of books and supplies.

To participate, please opt into the Early Book Program when you log into your MyCSU account. You can also change your participation under the Students link/Financial Records tab/Early Book Program Authorization.

The book program is only available to students who early register and have completed all financial aid requirements.

If you have a hold on your account for a financial obligation/fine, you will not be allowed to use the program until the obligation is cleared and the hold is removed. Note that the book program file is fed every few hours, so once the hold is cleared, it may be the next business day before your information feeds to the bookstore.

Please check your bill in MyCSU under the Financial Records tab to see if you have a credit balance available to purchase books. If you owe money on your bill or have a $0 balance due, you will not receive a book credit.

Credit balances will be transmitted daily to the CSU bookstore so that your money is available to purchase the books you need. It takes about 6 hours, but up to one day, for a new credit balance to be transferred to the bookstore. You are required to present your CSU ID at the bookstore when you purchase your books.
